Description
Delicate yet sturdy, the C-Chair was designed in 1947 by Marcel Gascoin, a French cabinetmaker and designer known for his post-World War II furniture series. This generously proportioned dining chair was designed to fit into the small size of urban apartments built in the post-war era. Characterized by voluminous legs juxtaposed with a light cane seat, the quality of the C-Chair is revealed through modern lines, sobriety and a high quality wood finish.
