PAULISTANO ARMCHAIR

Paulo Mendes da Rocha is a living legend of contemporary architecture. His work is associated with the "São Paulo school of Brutalist architecture". Brutalism refers to raw concrete and simple forms. Extremely comfortable, the Paulistano is a timelessly elegant design classic. It has been part of the permanent collection of New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) since 2007.
