Description
Based near Montpellier, France, designer James Haywood imagines and creates the "Erreur 404" lighting collection, made entirely from recycled materials. As artistic as it is innovative, it conveys a wild elegance and quiet strength.
The designer favors and exploits discarded materials, designing objects that are more sustainable and more respectful of the environment. His starting point is the alternatives to concrete, which he has chosen to highlight through unique lamps made using 3D printing.
Originally trained in aeronautical engineering and with no preconceptions in the world of design, James gave way to a trial-and-error process that lasted 15 months before producing his first product.
